At the UFC 196 press conference on Wednesday, McGregor repeatedly used the microphone to make statements towards Nick Diaz, who was not on stage but was at the event. In addition, McGregor referred to Nate Diaz as “Nick’s lil bro” several times throughout the event.

Everyone knew Conor McGregor’s UFC 196 fight with Nate Diaz would include quite a bit of trash talk. However, with that being said no one could have predicted that a fan would take things this far. A fan posted a photo of himself wielding an AK-47 on Twitter along with several Tweets warning McGregor to “be careful” following the UFC 196 press conference Wednesday afternoon.

According to Sonnen, the UFC 196 main event fight between McGregor and Diaz was set at 170-pounds so that the UFC can promote a welterweight title fight between “Mystic Mac” and Robbie Lawler later this year at UFC 200.

Surprisingly, Nate Diaz accused the UFC roster, as well as Conor McGregor specifically, of being on steroids. McGregor instantly got fired up, nearly losing his composure.
