Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone has earned the reputation as a complete badass, and sometimes has even caused UFC President Dana White headaches when he goes rock climbing or wake-boarding during fight week. Cowboy posted a photo on Instagram of himself in the cockpit of a plane while rocking a Monster helmet. He then went straight from flying to the gym.

While Nate Diaz currently doesn’t have an opponent for UFC 200, UFC President Dana White has stated that Diaz will remain on the card. With that being said, Diaz has been enjoying some time with martial arts legend, and movie star Jean Claude Van Damme. Van Damme posted a photo of the pair on Instagram along with a caption.

Over the last several years, the American Kickboxing Academy has caught quite a bit of criticism for their fighter’s pulling out of fights due to injuries, most specifically Cain Velasquez and Khabib Nurmagomedov. In addition, Daniel Cormier was forced to withdraw from his first UFC fight when he injured his leg prior to his UFC 198 showdown with Jon Jones earlier this month.

Earlier this month, former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson made his Bellator MMA debut at Bellator 153, as he fought Andrey Koreshkov for the welterweight championship. The fight was a rough one for Henderson, who ultimately lost the bout via unanimous decision, getting beaten up pretty badly in the process. There was a silver lining for the promotion however in regards to viewership.

UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is never one to shy away from taunting or trolling his opponents. Ahead of his UFC 198 fight against Stipe Miocic on May 14th, Werdum took some time to taunt Cain Velasquez and Travis Browne, who are fighting at UFC 200 on July 9th. Ironically, Werdum has previously defeated both men, and they are likely fighting for the #1 contender spot at heavyweight. Werdum defeated Velasquez for the heavyweight championship back at UFC 188 via submission to unify the UFC heavyweight championship. In addition, he defeated Travis Browne back in 2014 at UFC on FOX 11.

It’s no secret that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor would have made quite a bit of money for his welterweight rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 200. Unfortunately for everyone in the MMA community, McGregor refused to fulfill his media obligations for the event, and was unable to reach a deal with the UFC. Ultimately, McGregor was pulled from the card, and the rematch with Nate Diaz was scrapped. While a recent report estimated that the UFC stands to lose nearly $45 million for keeping mcGregor off the card, veteran referee ‘Big’ John McCarthy revealed on his podcast that McGregor himself missed out on quite a bit of money.

Friday evening the UFC announced a fight that guarantees fireworks. On July 7th on UFC Fight Pass, Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson will fight Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis. The event will be headlined by Rafael dos Anjos vs. Eddie Alvarez, and will be an important one for both men as Lewis looks to climb from #13 on the UFC’s heavyweight rankings, and Nelson looks to climb from #10 on the heavyweight rankings.
Khabib Nurmagomedov reacts to chaotic meet & greet

At a recent meet & greet with top ranked UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov, 3,000+ eager fans trashed a Reebok store while trying to push their way to the front of the line. Things got so out of hand that Nurmagomedov was forced to leave the meet & greet because of the chaos that was occurring. While a brief video has emerged showing the situation, Nurmagomedov himself has now released a statement regarding the incident via Instagram.

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is already looking past UFC 200 and her opponent Amanda Nunes. Tate wants to avenge her losses to former champion Ronda Rousey, and would love for it to take place at the UFC’s big event in New York City. “I think everything happens for a reason,” Tate said at the UFC 200 presser in New York (transcribed by MMA Fighting). “I told everybody I was going to beat Holly and I did, and I’m going to beat Amanda on the 9th, and I’m going to go on, and hopefully I’m going to see Ronda in Madison Square Garden. That’s going to be great.”
