While the MMA community is currently in a frenzy right now regarding Jon Jones being pulled from his UFC 200 main event bout against Daniel Cormier due to a USADA anti-doping violation, SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh took to Twitter to raise an interesting question. Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz II was supposed to headline the event, however Conor McGregor was pulled from the event for refusing to fulfill his media obligations. Now, with Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt now headlining the event, Kavanagh has some questions:

Shocking news broke on Wednesday when the UFC revealed that current UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was pulled from the UFC 200 unification title fight versus the UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. The announcement was made during a press conference held late Wednesday.

With just days to go until his UFC 200 headlining bout against Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones was notified of a potential anti-doping violation, and was subsequently pulled from the fight. UFC President Dana white was quick to reveal that the fight was off, and Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt was now the main event for the historic card. Despite that however, Daniel Cormier stated that he would be willing to go up to 225 pounds for a short-notice fight.

Late Wednesday evening news broke that pound for pound kingpin Jon Jones was pulled from UFC 200 after he was notified of a potential anti-doping violation stemming from an out-of-competition drug test back in June. It was quickly announced that the fight was off the card, and that Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt was the new main event for the historic card.
