Gegard Mousasi is confident he will win at UFC 204 now that Belfort lacks "Doctor's Advantage"
Tom Taylor - September 4, 2016
UFC middleweight Gegard Mousasi has been campaigning for a fight with Vitor Belfort for years. At UFC 204, which will emanate from Manchester, England on October 8, the Dutchman will finally get the fight he’s been asking for. A few years ago, Belfort was one of the most ferocious fighters on the UFC roster–though he was helped by his use of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at the time. Now that TRT has been banned by the UFC, however, Belfort has diminished quite significantly. This has Mousasi feeling very confident ahead of their anticipated UFC 204 showdown.

In a recent interview with Independent.Ie, Wallace discussed his role in McGregor’s camp, and what it was like to join the MMA superstar in the gym.
Rory MacDonald is a Fan of the Brutal Rules used in Early Days of MMA
Tom Taylor - September 4, 2016
MMA can be pretty brutal at times. As fans of the sport, we frequently witness thunderous knockouts, bloody battles, and freak injuries. Yet MMA is also a heavily regulated sport, with a long list of rules in place to promote fighter safety. Groin shots are illegal. Eye pokes are too. Headbutts are forbidden. Hair-pulling is a no-go. The list goes on and on. Of course, this hasn’t always been the case. In the early days of MMA, competitors were allowed to employ everything from groin strikes to hair-pulling during a fight. And while these long-abolished attacks are now widely viewed as dangerous and unfair, there are still people out there who romanticize them.

Michael Bisping respects Conor McGregor, but Believes Eddie Alvarez would "Kill Him"
Tom Taylor - September 4, 2016
Not long ago, in the main event of UFC 202, Conor McGregor stole a majority decision from Nate Diaz, avenging an earlier loss to the same man and reestablishing himself as one of the game’s best fighters with the win. The strange thing about McGregor, however, is that he’s spent the entirety of his UFC career fighting at weight classes that do not appear to be the ideal fit for him. At featherweight, where he won the divisional title, he faced a brutal weight cut. At welterweight, where he would go 1-1 with Diaz, he was clearly undersized. Yet now that he’s achieved his title goals at featherweight, and avenged his welterweight loss to Diaz, the Irishman appears poised to shift to the division that seems to be his best fit: lightweight.
Corey Anderson Blasts Alexander Gustafsson for Decision Defeat of Jan Blachowicz
Tom Taylor - September 4, 2016
Yesterday, in the co-main event of the UFC’s trip to Hamburg, Germany, Sweden’s Alexander Gustafsson employed a wrestling-heavy game plan to steal a unanimous decision from the dangerous Jan Blachowicz. Though this performance was a bit of a break from Gustafsson’s typical, striking-based style, it was impressive all the same. It was also an important win for the Swede, who had not won a fight since a March 2014 defeat of Jimi Manuwa. Unsurprisingly, many fans, pundits and fighters were thrilled to see Gustafsson return to his winning ways and reassert himself as one of the division’s top contenders. As it turns out, however, not everyone was impressed by his victory.
