Eddie Alvarez: "I'm about to tell the whole world that there's no Santa Claus!"
Tom Taylor - September 6, 2016
In the main event of UFC 202, Conor McGregor defeated Nate Diaz by majority decision. Having evened the score in his bizarre, welterweight rivalry with the Stockton fighter, McGregor then set his sights on the division he’s most suited for: lightweight. Given McGregor’s transcendent superstardom, a trip to the lightweight division would almost certainly result in an immediate title shot against reigning champion Eddie Alvarez. In a recent walk-and-talk interview with Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com, Alvarez discussed this potential showdown.

Nate Diaz Coach: If Diaz Wasn't Injured "McGregor Would Have Gotten Stopped Again."
Tom Taylor - September 6, 2016
In the main event of UFC 196, Nate Diaz dropped jaws by slapping a rear-naked choke onto the seemingly unbeatable Conor McGregor. Several months later, in the main event of UFC 202, McGregor got his vengeance, earning a hard-fought majority decision over his American rival. The result of that second fight, however, was much less decisive than the first. Though McGregor came out on top, he was given all he could handle by Diaz, and very nearly lost his second straight to the same man. In fact, had Diaz performed just fractionally better on fight night, he might well have walked away with the win.

bjpenndotcom - September 5, 2016
Nate Diaz loves weed, and doesn’t seem particularly concerned with who knows it. Diaz’s boxing coach Richard Perez told Submission Radio that although Diaz blatantly imbibed Cannabidiol while at the presser, he shouldn’t be suspended or punished by USADA.
'Cyborg' Still Wants Ronda Rousey: "This Fight Needs to Happen."
Tom Taylor - September 5, 2016
A few years ago, there was no bigger fight for women’s MMA than a clash between former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Invicta featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino. The main hurdle at the time, however, was that Cyborg was not a UFC fighter. Today, that has changed. Cyborg has already fought once in the UFC, mauling Leslie Smith to a first round KO, and is scheduled for an Octagon return against Lina Lansberg in a few short weeks. Unfortunately, Rousey is now nowhere to be seen. After losing her bantamweight crown to Holly Holm almost a year ago, the former champion has dropped of the map entirely, casting doubt on the possibility of a long-awaited showdown with Cyborg.
