The bad blood between top UFC lightweight contenders Dan Hooker and Paddy Pimblett continues to boil ahead of Pimblett’s fight at UFC 324.

UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett is hours away from the biggest fight of his career this Saturday at UFC 324. Pimblett and UFC fan favorite Justin Gaethje will square off for the interim UFC lightweight title in the first UFC main event of the year.

Pimblett isn’t lacking confidence ahead of his showdown with Gaethje. He’s predicted a brutal knockout of Gaethje in the cage as he plots a future matchup with lineal UFC lightweight champion and longtime rival Ilia Topuria.

But Pimblett has also been at odds with another top contender ahead of UFC 324, Dan Hooker. Pimblett and Hooker have traded barbs on social media for weeks, and things got extremely personal in their most-recent exchanges.

Ahead of UFC 324, Pimblett has repeatedly questioned Hooker’s grappling prowess ahead of a potential future fight. In his latest comments about Hooker, Pimblett rated Hooker’s grappling against a Big Tech giant who has never competed in MMA.

Paddy Pimblett predicts Mark Zuckerberg would tap out Dan Hooker in grappling match

In a recent interview with Jon-Bernard Kairouz, Pimblett was asked about Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s grappling prowess and used it as an opportunity to taunt Hooker.

“I haven’t seen him training,” Pimblett said of Zuckerberg.

“But if he knows Jiu-Jitsu, he definitely could beat up the average person. Jiu-jitsu carries weight, definitely.

“Zuckerberg would probably sub Dan Hooker.” (h/t Bloody Elbow)

As of this writing, Hooker hasn’t responded to Pimblett’s latest taunts. He’s scheduled to fight Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 325 later this month.

If a matchup between Pimblett and Hooker comes to fruition down the line, it’s safe to say that Pimblett won’t be worried if the fight gets to the ground. In the meantime, their feud continues to intensify ahead of their marquee lightweight bookings.
