Nate Diaz reveals fascinating three-fight wishlist for combat sports future

MMA veteran Nate Diaz has revealed a pretty interesting wishlist of fighters he wants to take on at some point in the future.
When it comes to the title of ‘fan favorite’, Nate Diaz has had that locked up for many years. While he may not have been the most successful fighter in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, he certainly kept everyone on his toes throughout the course of his run with the promotion.

Even after he left the UFC, Diaz was able to make some waves in the boxing world with the likes of Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal. Now, as we look ahead to the next chapter of his career, Nate really has the freedom to do what he wants – although, a big part of that depends on how interested the UFC is in bringing him back.
In a recent interview, Diaz had the following to say about who he would like to take on before he retires.
Diaz talks about potential future opponents
“I would like to fight somebody, I’m ready to get back into real action, I want to fight either McGregor (trilogy), I want to fight maybe Dustin Poirier if he stops being such a p—- and then maybe Mike Perry, we’ll see what happens in the future, though,” Diaz told TMZ Sports.

While it seems unlikely that Poirier would come back out of retirement given how perfect his exit was last year, either of the other two would make a lot of sense. Perry is someone who can make fun fights with just about anyone, especially if it’s in BKFC, whereas the McGregor rivalry is tied up at 1-1 – and fans have waited almost ten years to see the trilogy fight.
