It did not take long for former UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz to clap back at UFC announcer Bruce Buffer for his recent comments.

Earlier today Bruce Buffer made headlines when he suggested that instead of complaining, Nate Diaz should be “bowing to Dana White” every time he sees him.

“Nate, I heard you made 7 or more million dollars in your last fight,” Buffer told TMZ recently. “I don’t want to hear you complaining about being under promoted by the UFC. You should be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White every time you see him. [Endeavor co-CEOs] Ari Emanuel, Patrick Whitesell.”

Those comments did not sit well with the “Stockton Slugger” who issued the following response to Buffer on Twitter:

“Bruce Buffer wtf get off the Ufc nuts your bowing down right now tellling me to bow down? fuck that u keep bowing down. I Bow down to no one ever for all the money in the world…” – Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz is slated to make his highly anticipated octagon return at UFC 230 this November at Madison Square Garden in New York City against surging division contender Dustin Poirier.

Diaz was last seen in action at UFC 202 in August of 2016 where he suffered a controversial majority decision loss to Conor McGregor.

Prior to that, Nate Diaz was coming off a thrilling short-notice submission victory over “Mystic Mac” which occurred at UFC 196 in March of 2016.

Meanwhile, Dustin Poirier has now won three fights in a row and eight of his past ten overall.

During that impressive streak “The Diamond” has scored wins over Joseph Duffy, Bobby Green, Jim Miller, Anthony Pettis, Justin Gaethje and most recently former champion Eddie Alvarez.
