UFC 229, which will be headlined by a blockbuster lightweight title fight between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and challenger Conor McGregor, is getting closer by the day. In anticipation of this mammoth October 6 pay-per-view card, the UFC has now released an official poster for it.

And, uh, it’s a video…

See this interesting UFC 229 video poster, in which McGregor and Nurmagomedov’s eyes are decked out with the flags of their respective homeland, below.

Khabib Nurmagomedov last fought in April, when he defeated last minute replacement opponent Al Iaquinta to capture the vacant UFC lightweight title, which was simultaneously stripped from Conor McGregor for inactivity. With this title win, Nurmagomedov improved to an insane 26-0 overall — easily one of the most impressive records in MMA.

McGregor, meanwhile, has not competed in mixed martial arts since November of 2016, when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight belt. Given that he still held the UFC featherweight title at the time, this made him the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two divisions concurrently. Since this last MMA fight, of course, McGregor did compete in a headline-dominating boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr., which he lost by 10th-round TKO.
