Alexander Volkanovski vs Movsar Evloev should take place at UFC White House, says Joe Rogan

UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes Alexander Volkanovski vs Movsar Evloev should take place at the White House.

Last weekend in the main event of UFC London, Movsar Evloev defeated Lerone Murphy in a pretty close featherweight contest at the O2 Arena. Alas, Movsar had done enough in the eyes of the judges to get his hand raised, and as we look ahead to the future, it certainly seems to make sense for him to get the call to compete for the UFC featherweight championship in his next outing.

Alexander Volkanovski has also made it clear that he would be more than happy to defend against Evloev, which makes sense, given that ‘The Great’ has always been a fighting champion and has always been willing to take on tough challenges.

In the eyes of Joe Rogan, it makes sense for the UFC to add Volkanovski to Evloev to the UFC White House card as an extra attraction.

Rogan on Volkanovski vs Evloev

“The Evloev thing was very impressive. The fact that he was able to stand with him was very impressive to me,” Rogan said on his “Fight Companion” podcast. “I’m into (Volkanovski vs. Evloev). God, I hope so. I hope they don’t f*ck him again. After this? It has to be, or something is terrible in the world. White House lawn, let’s go. Give the man a couple of months off. We’re only in March, it’s in June. Come on, spice that card up, baby.”

“The pressure he must be getting to try and finish fights in strikes, and strike with people must be nuts,” Rogan said.
