With Jones’ unanimous decision win over Saint Preux, Jones and Cormier will get to settle their differences in the Octagon next for the undisputed title.

Jones was supposed to rematch current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at the event, however “DC” was forced to pull out of the bout with an injury.

The UFC booked Ovince Saint Preux as a replacement opponent for Jones, and made the bout an interim title fight. Assuming Jon Jones wins the fight, Daniel Cormier would like to have his rematch with the pound for pound king ASAP.
