Opening Conor McGregor vs. Jose Aldo II betting odds

By bjpenndotcom - August 23, 2016

Leading up to Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz’ highly anticipated UFC 202 rematch, UFC President Dana White was adamant that McGregor would return to featherweight after the fight, regardless of the outcome, for a title unification fight with interim champion Jose Aldo.

Conor McGregor Jose Aldo

McGregor, who knocked out Aldo in just 13 seconds at UFC 194, has remained noncommittal on his return to featherweight, even going as far as to state during the UFC 202 post-fight press conference that his next fight would be at lightweight.

Regardless, oddsmakers have gone on to release the odds for a potential McGregor-Aldo rematch fight. BestFightOdds has McGregor as a -200 favorite, while Aldo is a +155 underdog.

To simplify the above-mentioned numbers, it would take a $200 bet on McGregor to potentially win $100, while a $100 bet on Aldo would potentially earn you $155.

Do you think the rematch will happen, and if so, who leaves with the featherweight strap?
