Throughout the course of the world tour, viewers continued to score the press conferences as if they were MMA rounds, with many agreeing that Conor McGregor won the Toronto, and New York press conferences in the eyes of many, however Floyd Mayweather is confident that he is actually getting in McGregor’s head.

The verbal warfare is a battle that has been highly anticipated by the combat sports community, given that Mayweather and McGregor are both hailed as two of the best trash talkers in combat sports today.

Following the final world tour stop in London, Mayweather spoke to media members to discuss the world tour, and why he’s confident that he’s getting under Conor McGregor’s skin, and in the UFC champion’s head:

“When McGregor goes up there to speak and talk, I sit back and let him speak his peace and let him say what he has to say and what I do, I just sit quiet,” Mayweather told reporters in London. “When it’s my turn to go up, I give a speaking, he’s interrupting me. So it’s obvious I’m getting under his skin.”

“I never needed Conor McGregor when I made $800 million,” Mayweather said. “So I’m going OK. But he’s been a good dance partner, and I need him for Aug. 26.”

Of course, the pair will now meet in the ring on August 26th in a fight which is being dubbed the ‘Fight of the Century’ by many.

Tune in to see who picks up the win in August.
