Conor McGregor respects Amir Khan for fighting Canelo

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor took to his Twitter last night to praise boxer Amir Khan for taking a fight with Canelo Alvarez.

Respect to Khan.
Most established fighters these days look down the divisions for a fight.
Very few are looking up.

Amir Khan suffered a knockout loss to Canelo Alvarez in the sixth round of their pay-per-view main event.

Like Khan, McGregor also recently moved up in weight when he fought Nate Diaz at UFC 196 this past March.

“Mystic Mac” lost his main event bout with Diaz via second-round submission.
