The highly anticipated lightweight title fight, which takes place October 6 live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, will mark Conor McGregor’s first octagon appearance since UFC 205 in November of 2016.

Tensions between the Team McGregor and Team Khabib fight camps are at an all-time high, as witnessed at Thursday’s UFC 229 press conference.

That afternoon in New York, Conor McGregor blasted “The Eagle” calling him a “little glass jaw rat” while referring to Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz as a “terrorist snitch“.

The bad blood and insults continued on Friday when a Khabib Nurmagomedov fan responded to Conor McGregor’s Twitter post regarding his UFC 229 post-fight party.

“My official fight night after-party takes place at the @EncoreBeachClub Las Vegas! In association with McGregor Sports and entertainment and @ProperWhiskey! See you all there!” – Conor McGregor

A Khabib Nurmagomedov fan quickly responded to McGregor’s post with the following bold statement.

“You’ll have to drink your whiskey through a medical pipe after the fight mate, make sure you bring it to the party.”

That comment caught the attention of the former “champ champ”, who fired back at his hater with the following message/invitation.

“There’ll be a pipe in me jocks at the party. Bring yo bitch.” – Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor (21-3 MMA) is confident that he will become the first man to defeat Khabib Nurmagomedov (26-0 MMA) when they throw down next weekend in Las Vegas.

“I’m truly going to love putting a bad, bad beating on this little glass jaw rat!” – McGregor stated at the UFC 229 press conference Thursday afternoon.
