Charles Oliveira shares surprising prediction for Max Holloway BMF title fight at UFC 326

Charles Oliveira believes he can score a knockout win over Max Holloway at UFC 326.

Olivera is set to rematch Holloway for the BMF belt on Saturday in a highly-anticipated bout. Heading into the fight, Oliveira is a +172 underdog, while the Hawaiian is a -225 favorite on FanDuel.

Although Oliveira is the underdog, he has full confidence in himself as he believes he’s a much different fighter than he was the first time they fought.

“I have a lot of respect for Holloway, but I feel I’m a step ahead overall,” Oliveira said on UFC 326 Countdown. “When I first fought Max, I was just a jiu-jitsu kid. Now, I’m a complete MMA fighter. My jiu-jitsu is sharp, my striking is on point, and my wrestling is solid. I’m going to keep moving forward, I’m going to hunt him down. I’m ready, now it’s my time.”

As Oliveira said, he feels like he’s a much better fighter this time around, especially on the feet.

Not only does Charles Oliveira expect to hang with Max Holloway on the feet, but he believes he can score a knockout win at UFC 326.

“I truly believe in the power in my hands that I can knock out Max Holloway,” Oliveira said. “It’s time to go all in and see who the real BMF is. This excites me. I get fired up and ready for that shit. At UFC 326, I’ll show the fans why I’m the BMF just by being myself. I’m always moving forward. I bring the action, and I’m hunting for the knockout the whole time. Beating Max for the BMF title would really take me to another level.”

If Oliveira does get a KO win over Holloway, it would be a statement win for the Brazilian. It would also put him right back in the mix for a title shot at lightweight.
