Bellator 221 Results: Douglas Lima KO’s Michael Page (VIDEO)

A welterweight grand prix semifinals match between Douglas Lima and Michael Page served as the co-headliner of tonight’s Bellator 221 event in Rosemont, Illinois.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page will enter tonight’s contest sporting a perfect professional mixed martial arts record of 14-0. In his most recent effort at Bellator 216, Page scored a unanimous decision victory over knockout artist Paul Daley.

Meanwhile, former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima (30-7 MMA) was last seen in action this past September, where he scored a submission victory over Andrey Koreshkov.

In the second round, Douglas Lima landed a hard low kick that sent Michael Page crashing to the floor. As ‘MVP’ attempted to get up, Lima caught him with a brutal uppercut that send Page crashing back to the floor. From there, Lima would follow up with some brutal hammer fists that put Page out cold.
