Problems between Anderson Silva and Dana White?

By Russell Ess - June 24, 2016

UFC President Dana White runs into issues with his fighters from time to time and usually resolves things fairly quickly so that everyone can continue doing their jobs.

Most recently, former middleweight champion Anderson Silva posted an interesting photo and caption to his Instagram account.

The “Spider” posted a photo of White with a quote from author George Orwell saying, “If liberty means anything, in particular the right to tell other people what they don’t want to hear. (George Orwell)

Se a liberdade significa alguma coisa, será sobre tudo o direito de dizer às outras pessoas o que elas não querem ouvir. (George Orwell.)”

Silva’s wrote the quote in both English and Portuguese and likely had the Portuguese version translated into English. Orwell’s actual quote was, “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

With the photo of White, Silva was definitely looking to make a statement to his 2.3 million followers on Instagram.
