Daniel Cormier had a very busy 2015.
‘DC’ kicked off 2015 by fighting Jon Jones for the light heavyweight championship in a highly anticipated grudge match which he lost. Following that he fought Anthony Johnson for the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship; DC won that bout via 3rd round submission. To conclude the year DC fought Alexander Gustafsson to a controversial decision that saw Cormier retain the championship.
While he knows his next opponent will be Jon Jones once again, the pair currently have no date set to fight, which means DC gets to enjoy some time off.
