Paulo Costa has spoken out following his UFC 298 loss against Robert Whittaker in an exciting middleweight scrap. It was “Borrachinha’s” first fight since August 2022. Costa had Whittaker hurt in a bad way at the end of the first round, landing a spinning heel kick. If there had been a few more seconds left in the round, who knows if “The Reaper” would’ve survived.

Over the course of the last 18 months, Leon Edwards has stood tall as the UFC welterweight champion. He knocked out Kamaru Usman to claim the crown and since then, he’s successfully defended the belt against both Usman and Colby Covington.
