Ben Askren is undefeated in his professional MMA career however in his last fight versus Louis Santos, Askren was poked in the eye and the fight was ruled a no-contest. On November 13th Askren will get a chance to rematch Santos, however that doesn’t mean Askren has forgiven Santos for the first incident.

ONE Championship welterweight titleholder Ben Askren is always going to speak his mind. As the undefeated champion of ONE with a 14-0 record, Askren shared his thoughts with MMA Junkie on Johny Hendricks missing weight for his fight scheduled against former teammate Tyon Woodley at UFC 192. “People are finally getting to see what I’ve known about Johny for more than a decade: his pathetic excuses,” Askren said as both of them were wrestling in the NCAA Division I during the same time of their college careers.

The 31-year old ONE FC welterweight champion has made waves by consistently calling out top ranked UFC welterweights, as well as UFC President Dana White. ONE Championship 32 went down October 9th at the Putra Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and featured a middleweight title main event. Perhaps the biggest moment from the event happened in the co-main event when Irina Mazepa defeated Ann Osman by KO. It was a little controversial because moments before the KO shot landed Mazepa clearly grabbed the cage in order to keep Osman from getting a takedown.

ONE Championship’s Ben Askren and Luis Santos will meet each other in the cage once again. Their first fight ended in a No Contest. Now, they’ll run things back and give it another shot when they face off at ‘ONE Championship 34: Pride of Lions’ which goes down on November 13 in Singapore. The welterweight title fight will serve as the event’s headliner. The fight was confirmed by officials, via the Las Vegas Review Journal.
