You’d think it would be difficult to scare a UFC fighter.
Think again.
Over the last two weeks, the UFC has apparently been working on a hilarious Halloween prank targeting several of its fighters. With the exception of Israel Adesanya, this prank seems to have terrified every single one of the fighters involved.
This prank began with the UFC challenging its fighters to a maze game on a laptop. The fighters, eternally reluctant to back down from a challenge, dialed in on the task at hand. Then, once they were sufficiently focused on the screen, an image of a creepy little girl, straight from a horror movie, popped up on screen with a bloodcurdling scream.
The fighters targeted by this hilarious prank were UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, featherweight contender Jason Knight, and light heavyweight contenders Anthony Smith, Volkan Oezdemir and Gian Villante. Israel Adesanya was also featured, but unfortunately could not be phased, and instead made a joke about a recent Tinder match.
Several of these fighters competed at last weekend’s fight night in Moncton, while Cormier, Adesanya and Knight all fight at UFC 230 this Saturday night inside New York City’s world famous Madison Square Garden.

Michael Bisping is all too familiar with playing the underdog role. Despite Steve Erceg’s (12-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) similar position Saturday at UFC 301, Bisping said he plans to go conservative and pick Alexandre Pantoja (27-5 MMA, 11-3 UFC) to defend his flyweight title in his home country of Brazil.
In the main event of UFC 301, the flyweight title is up for grabs as Alexandre Pantoja looks to defend his belt against Steve Erceg. Heading into the fight, Pantoja is a -200 favorite while the challenger is a +154 underdog on FanDuel.
