What do you do when you’re a fighter, and you’ve got a buildup of fluid in your elbow? Well, you could certainly go to the doctor’s office and have it drained by a professional. Or, you could do it the Nick Diaz way, and drain that bloated ‘bow over a kitchen sink. Just don’t forget to film the ordeal and posted it on social media for all the world to see!
Click the play button on the video above to see the elder Diaz bro eject a Supersoaker-style stream from his elbow — but only if you’ve got a strong stomach. If you’ve got a weak stomach, well, we recommend directing your attention elsewhere… say, to this thought-provoking article by our own Drake Riggs, or to the latest stacked episode of BJ Penn Radio, which featured excellent interviews with UFC bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw, Rizin star Kyoji Horiguchi and UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal.
Nick Diaz has not fought since January of 2015, when he battled Anderson Silva in a bout that was later labelled a no-contest. That said, the fan favorite was recently given the all-clear to fight again after an unfortunate USADA suspension, and could be back in the cage soon. At least, that’s what his teammate Jake Shields thinks.
If Nick Diaz does fight again, here’s hoping he gets his elbow drained by a professional first…
