VIDEO | Michael Bisping shuts down heckler at UFC 204 weigh-in

At the UFC 204 weigh-in Friday afternoon, Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson hit the scales ahead of their scheduled fight on Saturday night. While the staredown was certainly an intense one, with quite a bit of trash being talking by the middleweight champ, arguably the most intense moment of the event came when ‘The Count’ was addressing the crowd.

“What’s up Manchester? Who wants to see Hendo get knocked the f out? Come on make some noise! Guys, this is the pinnacle of my career, it doesn’t get any better than this, the champion, defending it in Manchester…”

During the course of Bisping’s speech, a Dan Henderson fan began to heckle him from the audience. That didn’t go over too well with the champ, who was quick to ramp up the intensity of his speech.

“Somebody shut this dickhead up over here! Mate, you’re going down pal. Fuck you, fuck Henderson, Manchester let’s fucking do this!”

During the course of Bisping’s twelve year professional MMA career, he has never lost a fight in England. In 2004, ‘The Count’ began his professional MMA career going 10-0 in England before competing in, and winning The Ultimate Fighter. In just his third UFC fight he fought Eric Sinosic in Manchester, who he defeated. Bisping followed up the performance by fighting Matt Hamill at UFC 75 in London, where he picked up a split decision. The very next year, Bisping TKOd Jason Day at UFC 85 in England. A year following his win over Day, Bisping TKOd Denis Kang in Manchester in a ‘Fight of the Night’ performance. In 2010 Bisping stepped into the Octagon in London at UFC 120, where he squared off with Judo legend Yoshihiro Akiyama, who he defeated via decision.

It was six years before Bisping would fight in England again. When he did so, it was in the main event of ‘UFC Fight Night: London’, where he picked up a unanimous decision win over MMA icon Anderson Silva.
