Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier’s rivalry is certainly a storied one. Prior to the pair’s first meeting inside the Octagon they were involved in an infamous brawl during their first staredown.
When the pair finally met in the Octagon, it was Jones who emerged victorious as he claimed a unanimous decision win. After being stripped of the belt, Cormier captured the vacant championship strap, setting up the rematch at UFC 200 in less than two weeks.
