On Friday, UFC President Dana White offered Floyd Mayweather $25 million to fight Conor McGregor with pay-per-view buys to be negotiated.
It didn’t take long for the undefeated, retired boxing superstar to respond as TMZ caught up with Mayweather later on Friday.
“Ahh you’re a f***ing comedian,” Mayweather exclaimed after TMZ told him White’s offer. “You’re a f***ing comedian. Look at my watch I bought, look at that Hublot. Get that Hublot. You know how much that cost? Look it up.”
TMZ reports that the limited edition Hublot Laferrari watch that Mayweather was wearing ranges in price from $220,000 to a whopping $350,000.
When asked again to try and get a firm answer from Mayweather on the deal from White, the boxing star only said to look at his watch once again. This all likely means that the $25 million and pay-per-view split for a fight with McGregor wasn’t going to be on his schedule anytime soon as the prize fighter has stated multiple times that he will only fight for a guaranteed $100 million.
