With the countdown officially underway for Conor McGregor’s historic boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, training videos have begun to emerge from both fighter’s camps.
First, Conor McGregor was filmed working on a rather unusual drill with Ido Portal, which saw the lightweight champ striking at playing cards as they flew through the air. This was followed up by footage of Mayweather briefly hitting the bag, followed by some obstructed footage of the boxer sparring.
In newly released footage this week, Mayweather can be seen looking extremely quick as he works on his slips and counters on the double end bag. McGregor on the other hand, can be seen in the video above showing off his power as he hits the heavybag.
McGregor shared the video to Instagram along with the caption:
“You’ve never seen these moves. #Ghost”

For reference, we have included Mayweather’s training video below, which he captioned with a message to his doubters, addressing the criticism he’s received because of his age going into the fight.
I know I'm not the same fighter I was 20 years ago, I'm not the same fighter I was 10 years ago… As a matter of fact, I'm not the same fighter I was 5 years ago,I'm just an old legend putting in work in 16 oz gloves#TMT #TBE@mayweatherpromotions

Ahead of the fight, both men’s coaches have predicted a finish, with Mayweather’s coach predicting that he will shock the world actually stop McGregor in the early rounds of the fight. On the flip side, McGregor’s catches believe that their fighter will pick up a knockout victory, and hand Mayweather his first loss.
