Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor is known for his extravagant spending. According to NESN, he’ll soon be taking his spending habits to new heights, as he’s set to cash in on an absurdly luxurious villa in the postcard-worthy town of Marbella, Spain. This villa, which is perched just a short distance from the blue-green waters of the Mediterranean Sea, reportedly costs $1.5 million.

As the video suggests, McGregor’s new Marbella mansion features a custom gym and outdoor pool, an LED driveway, and an indoor home spa.
At present, McGregor is embroiled in a complicated legal situation in the United States, which stems from his ballistic, dolly-throwing rampage in Brooklyn. This rampage, which occurred the day before UFC 223 in early April, caused injuries to UFC 223 fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, who were forced out their bouts as a result.
Provided McGregor is able to get the legal fallout of this strange riot squared away, he’s expect to return to the UFC’s Octagon sometime later this year. While nothing is certain just yet, the most likely opponent for the Irishman’s return is new UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Conor McGregor has not competed in mixed martial arts since November of 2016, when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight title. That being said, he did step into the boxing ring in August of 2017, coming up short to undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a headline-dominating mega-fight.
