Amanda Nunes proved to be a force to be reckoned with in her first UFC women’s bantamweight title defense.

Nunes destroyed former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, needing just 48 seconds to end the fight by TKO. Nunes served Rousey the second loss of her professional MMA career and is now on a two-fight losing streak.

Following the fight, Andy Nesbitt from The Buzzer caught up with Nunes and asked her about the fight with Rousey.

Nesbitt asked Nunes, “Amanda, that looked way too easy. Did it feel way too easy?”

“Yeah, I knew it was going to be like that,” Nunes said. “I trained hard for this fight and I know I would capitalize and walk away with my belt. I know that. The whole time, the whole time, everything UFC did with to promote and everything, I know Ronda Rousey was going to go down, and I was ready for it, you know?”

Nesbitt then asked if there was anything Nunes wanted to say to Rousey in the Octagon before she walked out.

“I, yeah, hug her, and tell her to keep it up. She did a lot for this sport and be proud and then do something else, you know? Because she don’t need to go through this thing again. I don’t think she need it. She has money, she can stop you know and go do something else.”

Nesbitt then asked, “Do you think we have seen the last of Ronda Rousey in the Octagon?”

“Yeah, she’s gonna retire after that for sure,” Nunes said. ” I don’t think she wants to take the hits anymore. She can’t take it. If I give her a rematch, I don’t think she is gonna accept.”
