MMA legend Urijah Faber returns to headline A1 Combat 21

MMA legend Urijah Faber is returning to headline A1 Combat 21.

Faber (35-11 MMA) retired from MMA in 2016 after defeating Brad Pickett (25-14 MMA) by unanimous decision. Making a comeback in 2019, ‘The California Kid’ fought and defeated Ricky Simon (20-5 MMA) by TKO. That same year, Faber got in the cage with Petr Yan (16-5 MMA) at UFC 245 but lost by a third round TKO.

The now 44-year-old Faber, after more than 4 years out of competition, will be headlining A1 Combat 21 on Saturday, May 25th, at the Visalia Convention Center in California, his opponent is yet to be determined.

In a video posted to ‘Instagram‘ A1 Combat shared the official announcement:

We are thrilled to announce the return of the one and only Vince Murdock (@vincemurdock) to the cage on May 17th at Hardrock Live Sacramento for A1 Combat 20! Brace yourselves for an unforgettable night of heart-pounding action as Murdock steps back into the spotlight.”

“But that’s not all! We’ve got another blockbuster announcement coming your way. The California Kid, Urijah Faber, (@urijahfaber) will be headlining A1 Combat 21 in Visalia on May 25th. Faber, a true legend in the sport, is set to deliver a night of adrenaline-fueled fights that you won’t want to miss!”

The former WEC champion, four time UFC bantamweight title challenger and UFC Hall of Famer will be back in action this May.

The promoter of Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat Series will now be a contender.
