UFC 232: Jones vs. Gustafsson 2 Fight Card and Start Times

The octagon will return to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas next Saturday for the promotions UFC 232: Jones vs. Gustafsson 2 fight card.

Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson, UFC 232

Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson first met at UFC 165 in Toronto and produced arguably the greatest fight in light heavyweight history.

After a twenty-five minute war, Jon Jones was awarded a unanimous decision victory from the judges in attendance.

Bones” has not competed since UFC 214 where he defeated reigning UFC “champ champ” Daniel Cormier by way of third-round TKO. That victory was later overturned to a no-contest, this after it was revealed that Jon Jones had flunked a USADA drug test.

As for “The Mauler”, Alexander Gustafsson was last seen in action at May’s UFC event in his hometown of Stockholm, where he defeated former title challenger Glover Teixeira via knockout.

Amanda Nunes, Cris Cyborg

In the co-main event of UFC 232 women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will put her title on the line against current UFC women’s bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes.

Amanda Nunes will enter the super-fight on a seven-fight win streak, her latest being a TKO victory over Raquel Pennington at UFC 224.

Meanwhile, Cris Cyborg was last seen in action at UFC 222, where she earned a first-round TKO victory over Yana Kunitskaya.

If that wasn’t enough to get you interested, former two-division UFC champion BJ Penn will be returning to the promotions lightweight division at UFC 232.

The Prodigy” will be taking on TriStar gym’s Ryan Hall on the televised prelims of Saturday’s highly anticipated event.
