Anthony Hernandez has been waiting for this. Hernandez will be making his UFC debut at UFC Fortaleza in just a few days. The undefeated middleweight knew this day would come and now it is rapidly approaching. However, Hernandez should have already made his debut. He was scheduled to fight Markus Perez at UFC 233, but the card ended up getting canceled. Even though the fight was delayed two weeks, it actually helps Hernandez out.

On Tuesday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) met to decide the fates of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former lightweight and featherweight champ Conor McGregor. McGregor and Nurmagomedov were being disciplined for the brawl that broke out after their UFC 229 fight, which also involved McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis, and Nurmagomedov’s teammates Zubaira Tukhugov and Abubakar Nurmagomedov.

Yesterday, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was officially re-licensed in the state of Nevada despite his recent red flags surrounding his picogram-metabolite revealing positive testings. With the re-licensing, it means that Jones is able to once again compete in Nevada which is where his next bout will be held when he is to take on top contender, Anthony ‘Lionheart’ Smith.

Tuesday morning we found out that UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov won’t be eligible to return to action until April at the earliest. However, upon his return, it doesn’t seem like he’ll be accepting any fights that are set to take place in the state of Nevada, which is the state that punished him following his last bout in October 2018 at UFC 229 in Las Vegas.

The brawl sparked when Nurmagomedov leapt over the cage and attacked Danis, and continued when McGregor swapped punches with Tukhugov and Nurmagomedov inside the cage.
