Joanna Jedrzejczyk last competed at UFC 275 in June 2022, facing old rival Zhang Weili. ‘Magnum’ was fresh off back-to-back losses to Rose Namajunas, and was trying to return to title contention.

There, Francis Ngannou competed in his second boxing match, against former champion Anthony Joshua. While ‘The Predator’ nearly upset Tyson Fury in his first appearance in the ring, his second fight was brutal.

Kayla Harrison wasn’t pleased with the UFC 300 fan Q&A she participated in last week. The two-time Olympic judoka is set to finally make her promotional debut next month. At the historic UFC 300 milestone event on April 13th, Kayla Harrison will meet former champion Holly Holm. The former two-time PFL tournament winner previously left Donn Davis‘ promotion to sign with the UFC earlier this year.

Mike DiSabato, a close friend of UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman has provided an update on his condition. On Tuesday, it was revealed that Coleman was airlifted to a hospital after saving his parents from a house fire. News station WTOL says Coleman went in to save his parents and got them out, but he went back in for the family dog who unfortunately passed away. The house is believed to be a total loss as the fire reportedly started in the kitchen, but it’s uncertain how the fire started.

Cory Sandhagen is reacting to Marlon Vera’s performance against Sean O’Malley in the main event of UFC 299. The UFC 299 main event consisted of a bantamweight title fight rematch between current champion O’Malley (18-1 MMA) and Marlon Vera (23-9 MMA). The outcome was a unanimous decision victory or ‘Suga’.

Alexa Grasso is claiming a judges scoring error resulted in her rematch with Valentina Shevchenko being ruled a split draw. It was Alexa Grasso (16-3 MMA) vs. Valentina Shevchenko (23-4 MMA) in a flyweight bout back in March of 2023 at UFC 285. The result was a submission victory for Grasso at 4:34 of round 4, crowning her the UFC flyweight champion.

It has been revealed that Jack Della Maddalena broke his arm during UFC 299 fight with Gilbert Burns. UFC 299 took place this past weekend and saw Jack Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA) in a welterweight bout with Gilbert Burns (22-7 MMA). The result was a KO victory at 3:43 of Round 3 for the Aussie (see that here).

He was beaten via unanimous decision at the hands of Sean O’Malley, who controlled most of the fight in their UFC bantamweight title main event. While some ‘Suga’ fans were quick to dunk on ‘Chito’, the majority of fight fans praised him for his heart, grit and determination.

Last weekend, Marlon Vera came up short in his attempt to capture the UFC bantamweight championship. He was beaten and battered in his battle with Sean O’Malley, falling to a comprehensive decision defeat. Now, he’ll go back to the drawing board, with the hope being that he will bounce back in his next outing.

Burns was taking on the up-and-comer in his first fight since losing a decision to Belal Muhammad last May. The Brazilian had success early on as he was able to land some good strikes, but controlled Della Maddalena.

UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett has named Conor McGregor his dream fight. ‘The Baddy’ has been out of action since a unanimous decision victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 296 in December. The victory snapped a yearlong hiatus for Paddy Pimblett, spending most of 2023 out due to injury. As of now, the lightweight contender is hoping for a return in the summer but hasn’t been linked to any date or opponent.

Mark Coleman, the inaugural UFC heavyweight champion, was airlifted to the hospital after saving his parents from a house fire. Former Bellator executive Rich Chou first brought to light that Coleman was reportedly in hospital, as he saw it mentioned on a thread on social media. Twitter personality Caposa then posted the news article about the incident, confirming Coleman was transported to the hospital.
