Jiri Prochazka is none too pleased with the antics of Josh Hokit.

Hokit was in attendance for Wednesday’s UFC 327 media day session, and he was in full character. The undefeated heavyweight referred to himself as a “vato.” When Hokit ran into Prochazka, who is scheduled to headline UFC 327 in a light heavyweight title fight against Carlos Ulberg, things got testy.

Prochazka warned Hokit to stay away from him. “The Incredible Hulk” responded by saying he’d cut off Prochazka head and stitch it to Alex Pereira body.

Hokit’s bizarre antics didn’t stop there. He continued his “vato” gimmick when speaking to reporters during his media scrum. Hokit was asked about the confrontation with Prochazka.

“I’m just letting everyone know how [expletive] down I am, homie,” Hokit responded. “I’m downest vato in the world, homie.”

Hokit’s promo was clearly inspired by professional wrestling, but it has missed the mark with many fans. X user SizzlingMMA is not impressed by what Hokit is selling.

“Look, I got nothing against fighters doing stupid [expletive] to try and standout as that standing out leads to more money and opportunities, but when your trying to start [expletive] with the biggest star on the card who’s in the main event, you can go float. The PFL I’m sure would love him.”

Another user, Goyim Tracker, believes this shows that UFC’s quality is plummeting.

“Definitive proof that the ufc is in a downtrend spiral.”

Hokit is set to clash with Curtis Blaydes on Saturday’s UFC 327 card in Miami. It’s a significant step up in competition for the 28-year-old. Blaydes sits as a slight betting favorite entering fight night.
