Jon Jones will put his UFC light heavyweight title on the line in the headliner of tonight’s UFC 235 event against Anthony Smith.

“Bones” will enter tonight’s UFC 235 main event as the heavy betting favorite, this after knocking out Alexander Gustaffson in his most recent effort at UFC 232.

Still, some fans and analysts sincerely believe “Lionheart” can pull off the massive upset.

Smith has won three fights in a row, scoring stoppages in each of those contests.

If Jon Jones is able to defeat Anthony Smith this evening, his next opponent could very well come in the form of Thiago Santos, who will be sitting cageside for tonight’s UFC 235 main event.

With that said, Jon Jones recently told TMZ Sports that “he has a feeling” he will eventually fight rising UFC star Israel Adesanya.

“I got a feeling me and (Adesanya) will eventually fight each other. I’d be excited for that challenge.”

“Stylebender” is coming off a decision win over Jones’ friend and idol Anderson Silva in his most recent octagon appearance at UFC 234.

That victory earned Adesanya an interim middleweight title fight with Kelvin Gastelum which will take place at April’s UFC 236 pay-per-view event in Atlanta.
