Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is trying to promote a fight between Hollywood celebrities Tom Cruise and Justin Bieber.

Yes you read that correctly. This all started after Justin Bieber took to Twitter challenging Tom Cruise to a fight in the UFC.

“I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?”

As ridiculous as a fight between the young Canadian pop star and the aging Hollywood actor sounds, Conor McGregor appears to be more than onboard with the idea.

Conor quoted Bieber’s tweet and offered to promote the fight under McGregor Sports and Entertainment.

Check it out:

“If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”

Conor McGregor would later offer to fight on the same card against another famous Hollywood actor in Mark Walhberg.

“I challenge Mark Walhberg on the very same card. Back when mark wahlberg was marky mark, I’d’ve still slapped the ears off him and took my ufc shares back. #Shares #Streams #Dazn #Espn McGregor Sports and Entertainment.”

Conor McGregor has not stepped foot inside the octagon since suffering a fourth-round submission loss to the aforementioned Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.

The former ‘champ champ’ is reportedly in negotiations with the UFC for a new contract that reflects the company’s new deal with ESPN.

Tom Cruise has yet to respond to the challenge laid out by Justin Bieber, but one can only imagine he has better things to do with his time.
