Becky Lynch trashes Ronda Rousey for Holly Holm loss: ‘You hid for a year under your blankie’

By Tom Taylor - November 15, 2018

Ronda Rousey’s UFC career is soundly in the rear-view, as she’s now firmly embedded as a member of the WWE roster. Even in this new role, however, she can not escape the toughest setback of her sporting career: the 2015 knockout loss to Holly Holm that ended her reign as UFC women’s bantamweight champ.

Ronda Rousey, who is currently the Raw Women’s Champion, was supposed to meet current SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in the ring at WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view is this Sunday. Unfortunately, Lynch was forced out of the match with a nose injury, and replaced by Charlotte Flair.

While Rousey and Lynch will no longer be sharing the ring this Sunday, they’re still trash talking like they will be.

After Rousey criticized Lynch for bailing on the match, Lynch fired back with a scathing insult, trashing the former UFC champ for the way she handled her loss to Holm.

“I’m really sorry to hear ‘The Millennial Man’ will not be showing up for her legally arranged ass whooping on November 18th at the Staples Center,” Ronda Rousey said in a lengthy Instagram post that featured a screenshot of now famous Nate Diaz quote. “Unfortunately now everyone knows if someone hauls off and punches you for real, your face implodes. I suggest you keep practicing your tough guys faces in the mirror, should be very effective physical therapy.”

“Ronnie, TL/DR,” Becky Lynch Tweeted in response to Rousey’s lengthy post. “When I got my face broke I got up, [I] owned you THEN showed up the next day looking to fight some more. When you got your face broke you hid for a year under your blankie. Your mind is as weak as your jaw, & I’m going to move heaven & earth to come destroy them both.”

Do you think Ronda Rousey will ever escape her tough 2015 loss to Holly Holm?
