Fans watching RAF 6 on Saturday got more than they bargained during Arman Tsarukyan’s match on Saturday.

Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas shared the mat inside Mullet Arena in Tempe. Things went off the rails and a brawl between both camps broke out. It was said by those in attendance that it took a considerable amount of time to settle things down.

Poullas posted a video on his Instagram account where he was shown in an ambulance. He explained his side of the story (via Bloody Elbow).

“Alright I want to send a message to all my fans and supporters,” Poullas said in his video. “I want to thank you guys, I hope you guys got some enjoyment out of the match tonight. Unfortunately I was jumped.

“But as you guys saw, my 62-year-old dad and both my brothers came to my rescue. That’s the way we were brought up to fight for each other no matter what. We were outnumbered by like 12 Armenians and they came out there running, fighting with me, fighting for me.

“So that’s f—ing love, that’s how we were raised. To Arman, you’re a little b—- and by the way if you watch the match I’m the only one that got the takedown. He got a push out and a couple of penalty points, I’m still the champ baby.”

Footage surfaced of team Tsarukyan claiming that Poullas went rogue and threw punches during the grappling exchanges. That’s when a fight broke out and members of both camp ran onto the mat and began brawling.

Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili was in attendance for RAF 6 and footage was released of him telling Poullas that he’d like to see a rematch when things settle down between both sides.

“First, what I want to see is I want you and Arman to shake hands and make this rematch again,” Dvalishvili said. “I know you guys respect each other. It was hard to watch.”
