Despite the often brutal nature of MMA, fighters can still be very incredible people. That, however, doesn’t mean that they won’t end up fighting each other.

This happening to be the case for flyweights Andrea ‘KGB Lee and ‘Jessy Jess’ Jessica-Rose Clark who are set to square off at UFC on Fox 31 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 15.

Prior to the fight being made, Lee, unfortunately, was involved in an altercation with her husband, Donny Aaron. With a warrant out for his arrest, Aaron has yet to be caught.

#DonnyAaron, husband of #UFC flyweight #AndreaLee has been issued a 6-month restraining order against his spouse after an alleged #DomesticAssault earlier this summer. Aaron was a no-show today in court and is still allegedly on the run. A warrant is our for his arrest.

Following the news, Clark, who unfortunately has been in similar situations, would reveal that she offered to help out her next opponent in her time of need.

Because of this and along with their support for one another dating back to their time in Invicta FC, Lee also admitted that it was strange that they are fighting next as she told the Pull No Punches podcast (via FanSided).

“I received the message [from her] way later because I stayed off the Internet. I wasn’t checking any messages. I got a message from my friend that lives with Clark and told me she offered that.

I told her to tell Clark ‘thank you, but I can’t leave the state. I have a lot of court stuff coming up and I can’t take [my daughter] Aynslee away’. I’m trying to keep her as sheltered from everything as I possibly can. She has school and stuff.

It was strange [to be matched up with Clark next]. I have always been a supporter of Jessy Jess but when I got this fight I was like ‘crap’. It was so weird that the UFC would offer her to me. It’s all business.”

Who do you have winning between KGB and Jessy Jess in December?
