He did a great job holding him down, making a boring fighter out of a decorated champion, for five rounds. After the fight, I see that Anderson Silva didn’t have a mark on him. Not a mark.” “I talk trash, but I talk trash about people I’m actually gonna fight — people in my weight class. This guy, he talks trash about ring girls. He talks trash about the President. Now, that’s a little bit too much. He’s very disrespectful. I don’t like the guy. For real. The stuff he says about me. “I’m a guy that, thanks to my genetics, I can eat anything and I’ll feel great the next day. I’m different. I have resistance and I don’t get sick and I’m very thankful for that. I promised myself that I would try any food given the chance so I’ve eaten the weirdest foods you can imagine. I ate dog in China, I ate rattlesnake in Brazil, I’ve eaten scorpion, I ate alligator, I ate crocodile, ostrich … Man, all of them taste good! Why do the Chinese eat everything – because they fry everything! I just realized that if you deep fry ME, I will taste good! That’s the reality. I went to Iceland and that’s where I met Gunnar Nelson. They took me to eat a shark that had been dead and buried for six months. This is how the ancient people of Iceland used to eat shark. The shark dies, they dig a hole and put the whole shark in there and then a whole tribe urinates on the shark to preserve it. Funny thing is, the meat of the shark becomes like a cream cheese. The taste is not bad … but the smell! For that reason when they bury the shark they must do it far away from town. The smell was unforgettable. I wouldn’t eat it again. UFC Fighter Vinny Magalhães discusses who he would like to fight next in the light heavyweight division. With Phil Davis now facing Forrest Griffin at UFC 155, Vinny expresses interest in facing Matt Hamill Next. Magalhães also comments on his so called “history” with the Nog brothers and possibly facing Lil Nog as well. Vinny is a world class BJJ practitioner and is brought in by other fighter’s to help with their training on occasion. One of the fighters that Vinny trains is Chael Sonnen, who will be facing Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight title in April of 2013. Vinny is not impressed with Jones’ ground game and says it is “suspect.” Vinny is convinced that Chael can “submit Jones from his back.” Lastly, in a random and bizarre twist, Renato Laranja shoves UFC Fighter Vinny Magalhães and Vinny asks Dana to sign Renato, so they can fight in the UFC. I was happy that I got some kind of pop. I was cool with the reaction. I would have been in trouble if I got no reaction. That was my main concern.” “The wrestlers were cool. They respect me because I respect wrestling. I know a lot of old school wrestlers, their moves, etc. I was a huge wrestling fan growing up and now I’m stepping into their world and training to do it.”

A champion is a champion regardless if she is fighting up a weight, u use her image to promote the posters & then put her on the undercard?! Blows my mind. This is the 2nd time too you have done this I tell you what I would rather never fight MMA again then fight for u under @BellatorMMA banner…. The amount of disrespect you have given @ZoilaGurgel is disgusting.” Former Strikeforce female champion, Miesha Tate, took to twitter to express her disgust with Bellator FC for putting their female champion on the under card of this Friday’s Bellatory 78 event.

“I’m still kind of pissed off at the fact that I lost (to Demetrious Johnson), obviously, but I think I’m only two or three wins away from getting a title shot. “Speed is a big thing. With me, the second time I came in too heavy, I mean I cut 18.8 pounds in the last like 20 hours. We weighed in at three or four o’clock and by 10:00 I was 150.5. So it was my own fault, I didn’t diet right. I think I just didn’t take it seriously enough, which for some reason I don’t know why, I finally get to the UFC and I don’t take it serious, I don’t know. I would just go back to like I fought him the first time and not… I was thinking too much and I don’t know, I didn’t fight like I should have.
