Mixed martial arts veteran Chris Leben (22-11 MMA) was planning on coming out of retirement to fight for the Bellator MMA promotion. Sadly that is no longer the case, as MMAJunkie is reporting that “The Crippler” has been diagnosed with a severe medical condition that has left Chris with just 18 percent of normal blood flow to his heart.

UFC strawweight star Paige VanZant will be looking to knockout competition in a new realm. “12 Gauge” will be joining a star-studded cast on season 22 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The ABC show series is scheduled to start March 21st and will air on ABC. Other celebrities appearing on season 22 include Super Bowl champion Von Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and “Fuller House” star Jodie Sweetin.

The world has seen a new side to Conor McGregor following his first loss in the UFC at the hands of UFC veteran Nate Diaz. McGregor was very humble in his interviews after the fight and said that he was “humble in victory or defeat.” According to Bloody Elbow, McGregor told ESPN’s Todd Grisham that he would still be undefeated in the UFC, and would be a two-weight UFC champion.

There was speculation that McGregor could face welterweight champion Robbie Lawler if he were to defeat Diaz at UFC 196. As the world knows by now, in the main event of UFC 196, McGregor was rocked and then submitted by Nate Diaz in the second round of their welterweight scrap.
