While the pair initially took verbal jabs at one another over social media, they squashed their beef at UFC 196. To show everyone that they were over their beef, the pair did a staredown picture, except UFC President Dana White wasn’t made aware of the situation until her turned around and thought the two were about to come to blows.

While Conor McGregor has earned the reputation as an expert at mental warfare, Nate Diaz believed that quite a bit of McGregor’s insults prior to their UFC 196 welterweight scrap were scripted. McGregor repeatedly called out Diaz for ‘teaching Sunday morning kid’s Jiu-Jitsu’ and ‘going on bike rides with the elderly’. Diaz spoke on Fox Sports about why he feels McGregor’s insults were scripted.

While most MMA fans argue that Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, or Fedor Emelianenko are the greatest fighters of all time, former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo believes he is the greatest fighter of all time. Aldo went undefeated for nearly 10 years spanning from his GFC 1 win back in 2006 to his UFC 179 title defense against Chad Mendes. In addition, Aldo was undefeated for 5 years in the UFC until Conor McGregor knocked him out in just 13 seconds.

Back in the co-main event of UFC 194 in December, Luke Rockhold dominated Chris Weidman from bell to bell, ultimately finishing the champ in the 4th round via TKO. While Weidman had a broken foot in the fight, Luke Rockhold feels that when the two step into the cage at UFC 199 for a rematch, things will go the same for Weidman, if not worse.
