The world of MMA is in absolute disarray after UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor stated on Tuesday that he has “decided to retire young.” The madness grew after the UFC announced that McGregor was pulled from the UFC 200 headline fight against Nate Diaz. On Wednesday, UFC President Dana White appeared on “The Herd” to address more of the issues surrounding McGregor and UFC 200.

The Internet has blown up with everything Conor McGregor since the UFC featherweight champion tweeted on Tuesday out of nowhere that he has “decided to retire young.” UFC President Dana White announced later on Tuesday that McGregor was pulled off of the UFC 200 main event versus Nate Diaz stating that McGregor was unwilling to do a press conference for UFC 200 this week.

While UFC President Dana White has announced that Conor McGregor will no longer be fighting at UFC 200 after refusing to fulfill his media obligations, there has been some question as to whether or not he will remain the featherweight champion. McGregor announced on Twitter yesterday morning that he was retiring from MMA, which would mean that he will be forced to vacate his featherweight championship. However during an appearance on Fox Sports 1 Wednesday morning, Dana White explained that McGregor needs to clear things up if he plans on holding on to his featherweight championship.
