USADA has been frequenting UFC title contender Claudia Gadelha’s house, apparently testing the TUF coach twice in less than one week. Gadelha posted a photo late last week showing that USADA has paid her a visit for a test. Wanderlei Silva hit by car, will undergo surgery

Tragic news surfaced Wednesday afternoon that former PRIDE FC champion Wanderlei Silva had been hit by a car on his way home from the gym and would need to undergo surgery. While details weren’t given as to the nature of the injury to Silva’s shoulder, it was asked that fans pray for Silva as he underwent surgery.

While the UFC has yet to make any official announcement regarding a new opponent for UFC 199, our namesake BJ Penn obviously knows what fights are being offered as possible opponents but has not been allowed to disclose any information to BJPENN.COM per the UFC’s request.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has succumbed to make some changes to her autobiography to avoid a defamation lawsuit from her ex-manager Darin Harvey, according to Yahoo! Sports. Harvey claimed in a statement, ” … During the four years we worked together, Ronda easily won all her amateur fights, went 8-0 as a professional, became the first woman to sign with the UFC, and landed roles in several feature films. Her book failed to acknowledge the important role I played in all of that and, in my view, defamed me in several respects.”

Tuesday night unfortunate news surfaced that former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva had been forced out of his UFC 198 matchup with Uriah Hall this Saturday due to a problem with his gallbladder. It was revealed that Silva would need to undergo surgery to have his gallbladder removed on Wednesday. Wednesday morning an update was given by Silva’s physician that ‘The Spider’ had successfully his gallbladder removed, and would hopefully be released from the hospital on Friday.
