News broke Tuesday afternoon that former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman had been forced out of his scheduled UFC 199 bout due to an undisclosed injury. After the news broke on Twitter, Jeremy Botter of FloCombat confirmed the story, which also revealed that there has been no official word yet on who would step in on short notice to fight Luke Rockhold for the middleweight championship on June 4th.
