While former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is currently on an indefinite hiatus from competing in the UFC, she has continued to make headlines. During a recent podcast appearance, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate told a story about an encounter Rousey had with UFC strawweight Paige VanZant. As the story goes, VanZant and Rousey were doing a Reebok promo shoot, during which Rousey cursed out VanZant for congratulating Holly Holm on winning the UFC championship when she knocked out Rousey.

Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold certainly have a history. To add on to the animosity between the two, Rockhold defeated Bisping in the pair’s first Octagon meeting back in 2014. Now, as Bisping prepares to challenge Rockhold for his UFC middleweight championship on June 4th at UFC 199, Rockhold has declared his plans to retire the UFC veteran.

Former Bellator MMA Talent Development Director Zach Light is suing Bellator and parent company Viacom for wrongful dismissal. Light filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the complaint, Light alleges that it became known to him that fighters under Bellator MMA were using fraudulent medical reports to be permitted to fight for the promotion.

When it comes to UFC featherweight star Conor McGregor, one thing is certain, you never know what he’s going to do next. After winning the UFC featherweight championship in December at UFC 194 by knocking out Jose Aldo, McGregor looked to move up to lightweight to fight Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight championship. When Rafael dos Anjos backed out of the fight with a broken foot, McGregor accepted a short-notice fight at welterweight against Nate Diaz.
