This past weekend at UFC 199, Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber had their highly anticipated trilogy fight nearly a decade after their first meeting in the WEC banner. Cruz ended up dominating the fight from start to finish, securing numerous takedowns, and even dropping Faber several times. After the fight Faber revealed that while he wasn’t ready to commit to retirement, he was going to take some time away from MMA. In addition, Faber told the world to watch out for some up-and-coming fighters out of his gym, including Cody Garbrandt.

Dan Henderson reportedly wants rematch with Michael Bisping

At UFC 199, Michael Bisping stepped in to fight then-UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold on short notice after Chris Weidman pulled out of the fight with a neck injury just 2-weeks before fight night. Bisping went out and won the fight in the very first round to claim the middleweight championship. Earlier on the card, MMA legend Dan Henderson put on an incredible comeback as he defeated Hector Lombard via 2nd round KO. Given that both men won their fights, Henderson is hoping to get a rematch with Bisping, this time for the middleweight championship.

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan reacted to the news of the UFC lifting the ban on Helwani and his team on his “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast. Rogan explained what he was told regarding the situation. Rogan said that Helwani was told by the UFC that only a handful of people knew the confidential information, and by breaking the news, people would be fired to eliminate any moles leaking the confidential information.
