Grad’s recollection of the situation was far from good, as he called out Northcutt’s father for interfering with their training. It’s been 6 months since Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit had their welterweight title fight at UFC 195. The fight, which was an extremely controversial one in terms of scoring, saw Lawler retain his championship via split decision. Prior to the bout, Condit revealed the fans that he wasn’t sure how many more fights he had left in him. Following the fight, and controversial decision, Condit decided that if he wasn’t getting an immediate rematch, it was likely time for him to go on an indefinite hiatus.
