Brock, who defeated former title challenger Mark Hunt in the evenings co-main event via decision, responded with the following statement: “Let’s get one thing clear, Brock Lesnar does want Brock Lesnar wants to do.”

Lesnar utilized his ground game to smother and batter Mark Hunt for the better portion of both rounds one and three.

In the co-main event of tonight’s UFC 200 event in Las Vegas former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar (6-3 MMA) took on former title challenger Mark Hunt (12-11-1 MMA). Round one begins and Hunt takes the center of the octagon. Brock is circling trying to find a way inside on Hunt. Mark has his right hand ready to fire. Lesnar with a leg kick. Brock misses with a huge right hand. He lands a nice outside leg kick. Lesnar shoots in and gets double under hooks. Lesnar sends Hunt to the floor. Mark quickly bounces back to his feet. Brock has him pressed against the cage. Hunt with some short shots. Brock lands a takedown and moves to side control. Hunt is landing some shot from the bottom. Mark scrambles but gives up his back. Shots from the top by Lesnar. He lands a huge knee to the body. Big shots from the top. Hunt scrambles back up to his feet. Lesnar slams him back down. He moves to mount. Brock is unable to land any big shots from the position as the horn sounds to end round one.

Current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier squared off with former middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva in a non-title bout during tonight’s UFC 200 main card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Silva is circling trying to keep Daniel on the outside. Anderson with a leg kick. Cormier is pressing forward. He shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Cormier is working from full guard. Anderson tries to secure an armbar but it is not there. Daniel tries to pass to half guard but Silva will not let him. Cormier presses Anderson against the cage and postures up. He is able to move to half guard and begins landing some short elbows. Anderson does not like those. Silva is doing a decent job of defending. Daniel is finally able to posture up and lands some big punches. Cormier is trying to move in to full mount. Anderson does a good job keeping Daniel in half guard. Thirty seconds remain in round one. Cormier is smothering Anderson but not landing any big strikes.

A heavyweight bout between former title holder Cain Velasquez (14-2 MMA) and perennial contender Travis Browne (18-4-1 MMA) kicked off tonight’s UFC 200 main card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Velasquez quickly takes the center of the octagon. Browne with a nice right hand over the top. Cain comes back with a leg kick. Velasquez presses forward with some jabs. He lands another leg kick. Travis responds with a knee to the body. Cain fires back with a knee in the clinch position. He presses Travis against he cage. More knees score for Cain. He lands some short shots inside on Browne. They break. Travis misses with a right. Cain with a leg kick and then another. Browne circles away. Cain with another leg kick. He throws a combination and gets inside. Velasquez tags Browne with a big punch. Travis falls to the floor. Cain follows him. He begins landing punches from top position. Nice short elbows from Velasquez. He gets a hold of the neck but Browne is able to defend. Nice shots from the top by Cain. Browne is able to stand back up but Cain has his back. Browne scrambles free. He eats a left hook from Cain and is wobbled. Back to the ground and Cain is all over him. He flattens him out and begins hammering Travis with punches. It is all over.
UFC 200 Results: Julianna Pena defeats Cat Zingano

A key women’s bantamweight bout between two of the divisions top contenders Cat Zingano (9-2 MMA) and Julianna Pena (8-2 MMA) served as the featured bout of the UFC 200 prelims in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Zingano presses forward with punches she uses the momentum to score an early takedown. Pena is able to get back to her feet but it is short lived as Cat lands another solid takedown. Pena scrambles but eats some shots as she returns to her feet. Julianna clinches up and is able to secure a takedown of her own. She begins working from half guard. Pena tries for a guillotine but it is not there and she gives up top position. Cat now working from full guard. Pena is landing strikes from the bottom. Cat finally lands an elbow. More shots from the bottom by Pena. She is doing an excellent job of wrapping up Zingano and landing short shots. Julianna is searching for a sweep. Cat lands a big elbow. Julianna scrambles and gets back to her feet. Round one comes to an end as Pena lands a nice shot.
