Former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre has announced that he has started the process to be tested by USADA so that he can be eligible to fight in the UFC once again. While basically all athletes fighting in the UFC need four months of testing done by USADA to be eligible to fight, WWE superstar Brock Lesnar was given an exemption from the full four months, and still failed his drug tests that were taken before his UFC 200 fight.

Kayla Harrison became the first U.S. athlete out of both men and women to win a gold medal in judo at the 2012 Olympics in London. On Thursday, Harrison defeated Audrey Tcheumeo of France in the final round of the 78-kilogram weight class to win her second gold medal.

Just several weeks ago, former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen, and MMA veteran Nick Diaz, both celebrated the end of their suspensions. Sonnen was suspended 2-years for a pair of failed drug tests back in 2014 prior to his scheduled fight with Vitor Belfort. After it was revealed that he failed the drug tests, Sonnen retired from MMA. Despite that, now that his suspension is up, ‘The American Gangster’ is going through the USADA testing process to find out if he is eligible for returning to the UFC.
